Fabric Requirements

• Assorted light background fabrics for nine-patches & block backgrounds:  13 fat quarters 
• Assorted medium & dark prints for nine-patches and stars:  13 fat quarters or 28 fat eighths
• Accent fabric for blocks & setting triangles (red on the sample):  5 fat quarters or 1 1/4 yards
• Medium/Dark fabric for blocks (black on the sample):  2 5/8 yards 
• Inner border: 3 fat eighths or 2 fat quarters or 1/3 yd
• Binding: 1 yard
• Backing:  5 yards
