Fabric Requirements

Whit No. 1 ~ the straight rows of geese on the white – measures 24” x 24” 
• Asst. Light, Medium & Dark mini charm or 2 ½” x 2 ½” squares for blocks – 70 
• Background for flying geese, alternating strips & borders – 1 yard 
• Add ⅛ yard if there isn’t 42” of useable width. 
• Binding – Ό yard or 1 fat quarter 
• Backing – ⅞ yard – this is enough for backing and binding

 Whit No. 2 ~ geese sashing strips alternating with plain squares – measures 27 ½” x 27 ½” 
• Asst. Light, Medium & Dark mini charm or 2 ½” x 2 ½” squares for blocks – 80 
• Background for the Flying Geese – ⅝ yard
• Setting Squares & Borders – ½ yard 
• Binding – ⅓ yard 
• Backing – 1 ⅛ yard – this is enough for backing and binding

Whit No. 3 ~ the Flying Dutchman blocks – measures 22” x 22” 
• Asst. Light, Medium & Dark mini charm or 2 ½” x 2 ½” squares for blocks – 64 
• The squares must be in 32 pairs of 2 matching squares. 
• Background for Flying Geese, Sashings & Borders – ⅞ yard 
• Cornerstones – 1 square measuring 4 ½” x 4 ½” 
• Binding – Ό yard or 1 fat quarter 
• Backing – ⅞ yard – this is enough for backing and binding
